About Me

My name is Lucas Nava. Born in beautiful Nassau, Bahamas, in 2001, my family and I moved to the United States in the early 2010s and quickly settled into Santa Clarita, California.

After graduating high school, I decided to attend the University of Missouri - Columbia to earn a bachelor's degree in journalism. During that four-year stretch, I wrote and edited for the city's major newspaper, The Columbia Missourian. I also grew more in love with writing than I already was and began working on developing my own stories, worlds, and characters.

After graduating in 2022, I returned to Santa Clarita and worked as a freelance journalist for a time before getting hired by The Santa Clarita Valley Signal as a writer and page designer. I also began taking my personal writing journey more seriously, and I started work on my debut novel in earnest.

And that brings us to today! My first of what I fully believe will be many novels has been completed, and I couldn't be happier! I hope that you'll join me as I continue on this amazing adventure!
