Indigo Fire burns 22 acres in Castaic

A brush fire, dubbed the Indigo Fire, broke out near the intersection of Barcelona Road and Capri Court in Castaic and grew to a total of 22 acres on Sunday afternoon, according to the L.A. County Fire Department.

Victim still in hospital after shooting at Creekview Park

A gunshot victim is stable but still in critical condition as of Wednesday evening after a shooting on the 22200 block of Park Street on Tuesday night, according to an official with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
